I woke up with a really sore throat. It hurts to swallow. My voice was also very weak when I first woke. I feel like I need to cough, but do not have the urge to. I am an exclusively breastfeeding mother. I am 23 years old. What could this be and how can I medicate myself?
Acute tonsillopharyngitis commonly presents as difficulty in swallowing.Do salt water gargles, avoid cold drinks, antibiotics to consider if no relief (amoxicillin safe in breast feeding).
