Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Jaw Bone While On Ceftin

Yes, I am recently recovered from a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic, Ceftin. My symptoms (moving rash/hives) have subsided, after a week of steroids and an additional week of tapering.
Now I'm experiencing a soreness in my jawbone, on both sides, on the vertical part of the jawbone below the ear. And I have a faint ringing in my ears.
Any idea what this is?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain soreness of jawbone along with faint ringing in ears can be due to ear infection..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy, Audiometry and x ray/ MRI Scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised other group of antibiotics like Penicillin group..
Anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen can be advised..
Along with it antibiotic ear drops and analgesic ear drop can be adied..
Decongestant nasal spray can be given..
