Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Scalp While Under Stress

I m a sixty-year-old woman have a lot of stress in my life I have a knot not on the my head to warn the bottom of my skull been a sore spot right between my shoulder is there anything I should be concerned about and how long will this last it s been 3 days now

Tension can cause neck and shoulder pain and may be associated with muscular spasm.
Spasm of the muscles may cause the feeling of masses or lumps or knots if the spasm is significant.

This can also occur if there is an infection in the area.

Applying a warm compress to the area three times daily and using anti inflammatory medications may be helpful.
This would include meds such as naproxen, cataflam, ibuprofen.
