Pain in your arm may be due to the following:
1) Muscle strain
2)
Rotator cuff strain
3) Cervical radiculopathy
4)
Brachial plexus injury
5) Frozen shoulder
Treatment depend upon the cause and clinical examination is necessary to arrive at a specific diagnosis. You can take the following for pain relief:
1) Pain medications like NSAIDs Ibuprofen and Naproxen can be taken twice daily for 2 weeks
2) To prevent gastric ulcer, tab. Pantop 40 mg once daily before food is advised
3) For people with
heart failure, clotting abnormalities, NSAIDs are not recommended instead opioids like
Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Tramadol are used
4)
Physical therapy including therapeutic ultrasound and muscle strengthening exercises are advised
