Suggest Treatment For Soreness On Toe Post Injury

I stubbed my toe about a week ago. My toe itself feels sore even to the knuckle part of it. When I stubbed my toe my nail was long and split on the side so I cut my nail down after I soaked my toe cause a piece of it was pushing into the skin. However, I held the nail still as the whole toe nail and toe hurt. After I cut my toe nail I noticed a clear pinkish puss come from the toe. I covered with a bandaid, cleaned with peroxide and soaked with epsom salt for 3 days. It feels like I sprained or broke the toe. The nail by touch or rubbing on a blanket hurts the toe nail and also the toe past the knuckle. When I lay on my stomach and my toe is on the bed, it hurts. I can t afford to go to the doctor. There is a constant burning and aching pain in the toe especially after working for 8 hours. I ve been wearing my sandles cause I don t know if sneakers are a good idea at the time. Will the nail fall off? It s not discolored or anything but looks whiter than normal. No blood, and barely any puss coming from underneath the nail. The nail is now at a proper length since I cut it. I haven t put any antibacterial ointment on it yet or anything other than peroxide and epsom salt. Any ideas on treatment? Should I buddy tape my toe? Should I use ice?
