Suggest Treatment For Sores Around Vagina

Hi, I have 2 sores around my vagina. They are not hard but like a blister. It feels and looks like the beginning of a blister that is not full yet that you can mush the skin around a bit. When poked with a sterile pin grayish yellow pus came out, lots of it, followed by blood. They are not clearing up and are painful. The larger one has been present for at least 3 weeks now. I only have 1 sexual partner-worried I may be getting something from him that he is getting from someone else. Please help-what could it be.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on the description, an infection is present but it may be follicultis which is infection/inflammation of the hair follicles.

This can occur in the vaginal area.

The most common sexually transmitted infections are herpes, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, HIV.
They do not usually present with the symptoms that you are describing.

Cleaning the area with an antiseptic soap and using antibiotics may help to clear up the condition.

I hope this helps
