Suggest Treatment For Spinal Pain When Diagnosed With Rheumatoid Arthritis

My spine hurts so badly that it feels like it s going to crumble into ash. I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis but the medication isn t helping. I m trying to find answers before my doctors appointment tomorrow. What could make me feel in this much pain? I m not taking narcotics for my current RA.

Hello,

I think the pain in colon can be related to ostheoartritis you already know you have. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or naproxen is necessary to reduce inflammation. Also, corticosteroids can be helpful.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
