Suggest Treatment For Spinal Pain While Suffering From Herniated Disc

I've had many epidurals in my lumbar and the Dr. told me that by burning the nerves in L2, L3, and L4 would give me pain relief for 6 mos to a year but instead it magnified my pain. I am scheduled for a Nerve Test for my lumbar area March 25th and wanted to know what that test can find to relieve me of this awful pain I am in. The Dr. said that it might be possible that a Spine Stimulator my be used but is rarely used in people who have not had prvious back surgery I was also told that I have herniated disc in that area but a Spinal Surgeon said that they did not require surgery. Why then in pervious years getting epidurals did my pain go away? Please help me to understand. Thank you Debi Mabuce
