Suggest Treatment For Spleen Pain

I have lots of pain to where my spleen is located. This pain has been onset for the last year. It comes and goes at all times. It may be before I eat or it may be after I eat. The pain is pretty bad at times. I did tell a doctor about it and they did a scan on me but said they found nothing. If that is the case, why would I still have pain there?? What can I do or eat to make the pain go away and not come back? I really need some good answer because there have been a time or two that I felt I needed to go to the doctor again about it. I don't want to do all kinds of test. That can be expensive and I've already pain a pretty penny to try and find out what is wrong with me. Thanks for listening to me.
