Suggest Treatment For Spotting And Abdominal Pain

I had unprotected sex and I notice light pink spotting six days later. The spotting is very little and 4 more days later, I still have some spotting. I took a pregnancy test at home and it says negative. I don t have any abdominal pain. My period isn t in another 7 days and I am also on birth control that I take every single day. Should I be worry about pregnancy?

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
Spotting could be an altered menstrual cycle.
If you are taking birth control pills without missing a dose, even if you have unprotected sex it won't result in pregnancy..
A urine pregnancy test is positive only after at least 27 days from the last menstrual period.
You don't have to bother about pregnancy..If you are still in doubt repeat test after a week..
If there are any irregular periods afterwards too consult a gynecologist for evaluation..
