Suggest Treatment For Sprain And Swelling In The Foot After Injury

I sprained my foot last Friday and it is still swollen. I was jumping and came down on the right side of my right foot and heard a loud pop. My foot is literally so cold that I m not able to get it warm. I have been keeping my foot elevated and taking ibuprofen. Right after I did it, I went to my Dr and had x-rays but there wasn t any breaks or fractured. How do I know that it s not something else

This is probably ligament injury or capsule tear but also fracture is possible even if there is no sign on xrays..I suggest rest,icing and keep leg elevated. If there is prolonged pain you should do MRI scan which will show us this more detailed.
