Suggest Treatment For Spreading Infection On The Back
Hi Doctor, what can I do for overactive oil glands on back , It looks like pimple and sometimes while puncturing, the white thing came out from it just like pimples. It`s itchy and spreading on all over my back including shoulders. What Should I do please help ? As I never had this kind of pimples even on my face. I was on medication for 6 Months (June-November) due to T.B. Infection, is this could be the reason ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of spreading infection on the back. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like contact dermatitis, folliculitis, allergic reaction due to detergent, soap , fragrance , chemical, metal such as in jewelry, poison oak or ivy, an animal bite, or an insect sting and lyme disease. Need not to worry. Avoid itching or pricking it with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antihistamine , corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline short . For now take benadryl twice a day, apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
