Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rashes On Inner Thigh With Dry And Scaly Skin
I have a rash on my inner thighs and behind my knees and has now spread around my chest, it is very dry and I have seen my Doctor but have been given many creams and steriods and antibiotics, nothing has helped! It is so bad now and is causing the rash to split and the skin is so dry and scaly!

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of spreading rashes on inner thigh with dry and scaly skin which could be due to fungal infection of thighs mainly Tinea, as it localizes on body folds and thigh area. It could be due to bacterial infection, allergic reaction or nodular scabies. Need not to worry. I would suggest you not to worry about it. You shroud oral tablets of Terbinafine for 1 week. You should clean the skin with soap and cold water and apply petroleum jelly. Apply moderately potent topical steroid of triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream twice daily at affected sites.You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Take tablet of cetirizine 10 mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching.
