Suggest Treatment For Stabbing Pain In Pelvic Region
Hi I ve been to my gyne for a check up he did an ultra sound and said everything is fine. After 2 weeks I felt stabbing pains in my pelvic region. Then I went to my gp who sended me for another ultra sound at the radiologist. There they found something in the pouch of douglas. My Gp made an appointment with my gyne, after seeing my gyne they booked me for an emergency laparoscopy. After surgery I went for check up and saw my ultra sound scan. And for some reason it looks like a fetus. Not sure where I could upload pics.I would like an second opinion please
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. By the description you have given, it appears that you had an ectopic pregnancy. That is the reason you had stabbing pain in the pelvis. For the same reason, you have been taken for emergency laproscopic surgery. Hence the scan looking like fetus what you are talking about could be right. It could be told only when the pictures could be seen and histopathological examination report of the specimen taken out. It could be possible to conclude this much by the description you have given at this stage. Hope it should suffice. All the best.
