Hello my name is Cheryl, I ve been having pain in my left upper rib it feels like something is biting it I m try to move and when I turn like a biting on it or something it goes away but when I slightly on my rib it feels sore like a little stabbing pain but it does feel like that a stabbing pain together. Then it goes down to my left side a little bit.
Hello dear I understand your concern Stappin pain in rib could be a muscular pain, costochondritis , heart and pulmonary pathology. Take following advise: Tablel DAN-SR or ibuprufen 3 times/day after meal. Apply warm pad application, avoid exertion and stressful activity. Take proper rest. You can wear elastic creep bandage to support the respiration. If not resolves then undergo the chest X-ray, ECG and routine blood test: CBC, CK-MB, ESR, CBC to rule out infection, heart and pulmonary problem.
