1. Staphylos are normally present on the skin and in the nose of all individuals so handkerchiefs must be harboring the organisms
2. Direct contact with the infected person should be avoided,
3. The dressing should be done to prevent the complications like
abscess, or spread of infection to adjacent tissues
4. He should be given antibiotics effective against Staphylo like Cloxacillin
If the wound is not getting healed then you must contact your doctor to rule out
diabetes, and other causes.
