Suggest Treatment For Stickler Syndrome

I am a 36 year old female, confirmed with COL2A1 type Stickler Syndrome. I am researching prolotherapy for alternative joint pain relief in my hips, back, and neck. My questions are, 1) What is the difference between the injected iinflammation that's supposed to heal my joints and my usual imflammation that I painfully live with every day; and 2) what would be the effectiveness of a connective tissue therapy with someone whose body does not form or repair connective tissues properly in the first place?
