Suggest Treatment For Sticky Stools

I have been having stools off and on that stick to the toilet . They are normal color and quite soft. I am a 48 year old female. I am peri-menapausal. I am taking Tirusant 100mg for hypothyroid. I am 5'7" and weight is 160pounds. Is this something i should be concerned about? Can i do something to prevent this?

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear sticky stools may caused by many reasons.
Increased amount fat in diet may cause decresd gut obsorption which lead sticky stools. Food intolerance like lactose intolerance, artificial sweetener etc. If you are eating lot of mucous forming food like dairy products, gluten, sugar and alcohol may cause sticky stools. Gallstones, liver damage may cause this problem. So eat more fruits, avoid more fat, plenty of water, avoid alcohol. Still symptoms persisten you need to consult your doctor.
