Suggest Treatment For Stiffness And Restricted Movement In The Legs
My husband began having difficulty walking at age 49 and was diagnosed with spastic diplegia. Progressing over last 15 years with severe stiffness and inability to lift legs. Been to rehab, neurol and hemo with bone marroe bx due to recent decline in platelets. Idiopatic ITP. Any recommendations?
Spastic diplegia is type of cerebral palsy. it leads to stiffness and numbness. for treating stiffness you have multiple therapy. Baclofen is commonly used for spastic diplegia.
Banding and casting of proper body parts helpful to improve stiffness. Ortho operations and disc surgery or intra-intrathecal Baclofen injection might be helpful.
So you can opt any therapy. Improvement in stiffness depends on age, physical fitness, etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
