Suggest Treatment For Stiffness In Lower Back With Headaches

Greetings Dr. Rynne. I , a 43 year old male. I have a couple presenting symtoms and trying to figure out if passing virus/illness or if I should see my doctor. Yesterday afternoon I began to have a stiff lower back, it is pretty sore, verging on severe now. I have a headache since last night, a dull front of head behind the eyses and on the back side lower down towards my neck. I have still neck. Also experiencing sudden aches in my hip joints when I stand and move my body the wrong way. That pain is only brief and goes away when I reshift my position. I also have a temp. of 100.5 degrees. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Steve

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol to relieve the fever and join pain.
It will also help with the headache.
I recommend to drink liquids and rest.
