General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem related to gout. I suggest to check the uric acid level for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest to take anti inflammatory medications such as Acetominophen 500 mg three times a day to relieve the stiffness and the swelling. I also recommend to take prescription medications such as Allopurinol to lower the acid uric level in the system.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
