Suggest Treatment For Stinging Pain Behind Vagina During Intercourse While On HRT

My wife complains of strong stinging at the back of the vagina during intercourse. She is wet and everything moves smoothly apart from, every time, this stinging which makes sex unpleasant for her. She is 58, two years into menopause and has a hrt insert for her vagina every 3 days, because of the unpleasant stinging however it does not seem to relive it.

Hello dear
Understand your concern
I think it is due to vaginal atrophy.
It is due to deficiency of estrogen deficiency that produce vaginal dryness and thickness in the vagina and loose lubrication property.

So it will produce pain during intercourse due to more friction.
Advice:
Use estrogen containing creams or ring
Use lubricants like repelens MD and Sylk
You can also use condoms
