Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ache And Bloody Discharge In The Stool

there have been a couple of people at work that have had the stomach flu recently and this morning around 2:15 AM i woke up with terible stomach pains and really sweaty. I don't know if I had a fever or not. Since then I have been discharging blood from my rectum. I am scared and don't know if I should go to the emergency room for treatment. I am bleeding about a quarter to half dollar size of blood about every 20 mins. what do u think I should do?

Hello,

Bleeding per rectum after diarrhea may be due to an inflammatory condition of the colon, and it could be due infection dysentery could because.

If I would be the doctor of this case, then I would try to treat this case with tablet Metronidazole twice in a day for five days.

If this is not the inflammatory condition of colon then it could be constipation, you could wait for a couple of days if the symptoms remain as it is then you can see the doctor.
