Suggest Treatment For Stomach Bloating After A Hemerhoidectomy
i ahve my conventional hemerhoidectomy before three weeks...wound healed but a thread is still there doctor told me it will drop its own...i experienced anemia before surgery...now experiencing bloating and gas ...what should i do...my age 32 gender male

Noted the history of conventional hemorrhoidectomy three weeks back, wound healed but thread is still there, Doctor said that it will drop on its own, has anemia before surgery, now have bloating and gas, in a male of 32.
The cause of the bloating is gas and gas can be increased due to the following reasons: Aerophagia due to stress and anxiety, Aerated drinks, Imbalance of GI bacterial flora causing increase in gas producing bacteria, thus leading to bloating.I would advise you the following: Get the stool test to rule out any intestinal infection. Get a course of antibiotic and metronidazole if required. Activated charcoal. Probiotics, Avoid foods and beverages that cause or increase this problem, have plenty of oral fluids. You will be fine soon.
