Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have upset stomach, and last two evenings I get extremely cold and must get under an electric blanket to warm up. I did not eat supper last night but around 10p I thought I should try to eat so I fixed myself a bowel of cereal, I was warm and felt I thought ok. By the time I got back to my bedroom and was eating my cereal I started to get the shakes and was freezing. Could this a sign of the flu? no fever.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have stomach bloating. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like constipation , irritable bowel syndrome , intolerance to dairy products or other food items , eating too fast , overgrowth of bacteria in the small bowel , giardiasis or some medications . I would suggest you to avoid food like dairy products , drink warm water , do light exercises and eat light and non spicy food . If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers , proton pump inhibitor along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory .
