Suggest Treatment For Stomach Burning And Heavy Gastric Problem

Hello doctor ,my name is sooraj i was suffering from ulcerative collitis during 2007 and had took treatment for the same from. dr.jeevan Kumar ,gaestroentrolagist.presently i have no problem with that. but for the last two weeks iam suffering from stomach burning and heavy gastric problem . what should. i do

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of ulcerative colitis since 2007, under treatment from a Gastroenterologist, presently no problem with this, but suffering from stomach burning and heavy gastric problem for the last two weeks...
The problem looks to be due to severe gastritis and may be an ulcer.
I would advise you the following:
Start taking a PPI like Omeprazole.
Antacid whenever you are on empty stomach.
Domperidone is there is reflux, nausea or so.
Consult your Gastroenterologist for an upper GI Endoscopy and further management as per the reports.
Also go for the tests of blood and stool and get corrected if there are some findings or deficiencies in view of your old problem of ulcerative colitis.
