General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there, Thanks for you question, I am Dr Asanghanwa. I would say cancer of the stomach is a call for concern and the presence of multiple liver metastases is really worrying. However the treatment option available at this stage considering your father's age is chemotherapy and he is on the right protocol already. I think he should continue with his medications as prescribe. The swollen right hand might be due to extravasation of the chemotherapy products from the veins into surrounding tissues which is often common. Belching is in relation to his pathology. I advice you wrap the swollen hand in cotton and pour alcohol on it three times daily. That would soothe. Also I would advice you consult his physician as chemotherapy requires intense surveillance during and afterwards due to numerous side effects. Good luck

welcome to hcm,
stomach cancer with multiple liver metastasis has to be treated with a combined chemo and radio therapy. continue your chemotherapy.
your chemotherapy has to be continued, and radiotherapy has to be started.
if there is swelling in the place of venflon,i recommend to change the venflon.
hope this explains
with regards
Dr.Amarnath.
