Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps And Back Pain After Intercourse
Hey I had my first shot the 5th of August, my period had ended the 31 of July. I had unprotected sex the 16th three days before the Dr said I would be covered. I dont know if it was from the sex or what but a few days after sex i did bleed a bit and one day it was almost heavy like a period. I have also been having back and stomach cramps like i was on my period. I have also been really tired to. I have never used the Depo shot and i dont really know what to expext honestly. I looked online and it said after one week I d be fine. I m stressing myself out worrying that I might be pregnant. Can anyone help put my mind to ease? I am making myself sick worrying and that causing a number of health problems.

Your symptom of excess bleeding is most likely to be from the depo shot.The chances of being pregnant is very less since you have started depo shot well before sexual intercourse.
Irregular or heavy bleeding is very common in the first three to six months of depo use.Your hormonal levels will stabilise in the first few months and after which the above symptoms will reduce.
I would suggest you to take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after the date of sexual intercourse.Heavy bleeding for more than 10 days should be treated to avoid excess blood loss and subsequent anemia.
