Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps, Diarrhea And Fever While On Norfloxacin And Tinidazole
Hi in the morning I was having stomach cramps and diarrhea. However, there was not much nausea. Also, I tested for Covid twice, and there is none. I have been started on norfloxacin and tinidazole. I just had two doses for today and my stomach is feeling better although my fever is still there. For my fever I am taking acetaminophen. Any advice?
I would like to know the duration of your illness, else with the provided details if I was your clinician I would have suggested for a stool examination, blood hemoglobin level estimation with differential leukocyte counts. On part of treatment, I would prefer adding up pre and probiotics, ORS and plenty of fluids orally as tolerable. Kindly review these for further plan of management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sajal Singh, General & Family Physician
