Hi, thanks for posting the concern in HCM.
The symptoms written by you may be due to several reasons, e.g.
Esophagitis, esophageal diverticula, gastresophageal reflux,
peptic ulcer disease, non ulcer dyspepsia, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or IBS, colonic infection, bile reflux, giardiasis,
H pylori infection etc. Even poor oral and dental hygiene may be responsible for aggravation of the condition.
You need a detailed clinical examination by a local gastroenterologist.
You may need the following investigations-
Complete blood count, urea, creatinine, LFT, electrolytes.
Stool for routine examination and Obtain
Upper GI endoscopy
Hydrogen breath test
For the time being my recommendations are-
Tab Rifaximin 400 mg twice daily for 14days
Enterogermina oral suspension twice daily for 15 days.
Tab Rabifast XL inevitable once daily before breakfast
Ispagulah husk 2tsf in a cup of water at bedtime
Homemade frequent small meals and good oral hydration.
For any further information, please write back to me directly.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
