Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Bloating In An Elderly Person
Hi this is about my mother. She is 83 and has had bypass surgery this year. For years she has been suffering with stomach pain. Bloating that starts at the lower stomach going all the way up until it seems to press on her lungs until she can t breathe or walk. Any ideas? Her dr. Can t find the problem. She had had her gallbladder removed and that did not work.
According to your complain you have problem of lower abdominal pain and bloting stomach long duration problem than that may be because of irritable bowel syndrome.
More fatty food and eating fast also cause gas problem in stomach. Lactose intolerant or celiac disease may cause abdominal bloting problem. Intestinal infection may ruled out. Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Abdominal ultra sonography is helpful. Stool examination test is helpful to detect any infection. If needed than abdominal barium x ray can done.
I hope my guidance helpful to you.. Take care. Thank you.
