Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Bulky Left Ovary

My sister has been to the doctors today, and she has been told that she has a bulky left ovary. She has been complaining about stomach aches for a week or so. The doctor today told her they will do another ultra sound in 6 weeks. As they are hoping that it may rectify itself in that time.

i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
What is meant by bulky ovary? Is it mean a cyst in Ovary? What is your age?
Normally in case of cyst in ovary we are more concerned about its size...if we found a cyst we have to monitor it by serial ultrasound scans to see if it is increasing or not? If it is increasing and its size is more than 10cm then we consider intervention...
As far as stomach pain is concerned you should get Omeprazole 40mg before breakfast.
Meanwhile stay calm and follow your doctor's instructions..
