Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Dizziness

So this morning, I woke up a stomach ache. I tried going back to sleep for a little but decided to get up and walk around to see if it would go away. It didn t. I started to get sweaty and very pale, and I started to feel dizzy. I called my mom upstairs and told her I thought I was going to faint. She had me sit down and by now, I started losing my vision and seeing blotches. She had me put my head between my knees and got me a gatorade because she thought it was low blood sugar. I drank the gatorade and started to feel a little better. I then ate a banana and was able to function again. I got ready for work and went to work. I ate breakfast at work and felt a little weird while eating it. I m not sure if I was just being paranoid or not though. However, ever since this morning, especially right now, I have a punching feeling in my middle stomach. It will go away for a little and then come back. Do you have any ideas to what this could be? Is it because of my almost fainting episode this morning?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are feeling dizzy and also have stomach pain. You had experienced a fainting episode. You are suggested to take rest. Do not take any stress. Stay away from anxiety, do not panic. No, it is not about being paranoid. Such symptoms are indicative of over exhaustion, anxiety attack, acid reflux, disturbed electrolyte balance of the system that triggers low blood pressure, hypoglycemia leading to feeling of generalized weakness and dizziness.

You should avoid doing any heavy work, stay away from strenuous physical workouts, do not drive. Take home made balanced food, take soups and juice to boost your system. Avoid skipping meals. Take antacids or PPIs, one when needed to get rid of abdominal discomfort.

Stay well hydrated. Dizziness can also occur due to dehydration, anemia (low iron levels), ear infection, wax in the ear canal, neurological problems, etc. You should get well once you take balanced home made diet but you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get a total general examination done to detect any developing ailment. You will be treated accordingly. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
