My 8 yr old girl child had stomach pain fot past 15 days & loose motion for 5days The widal test report says S.typhi O antigen 1:160 agglutination S.typhi H antigen 1:160 agglutination S.paratyphi A(H) antigen 1:160 agglutination S.typhi H antigen 1:160 agglutination

since widal test is positive you are suggested to give antibiotics like cefixim ofoxacin in proper dose and till its recommended.if she also feevrish paracetamol and probiotics and ORS for loose motion should be given,a very soft & bland diet in small frequent portion should be given. keep well hudrated by giving liquids,(not warm),rest and vitamins supplementation will be helful.
