Suggest Treatment For Strep Throat And Bumps On The Mouth
I have had strep throat about 3 weeks ago and I still have yellowish bumps in the back of my mouth and my tonsils have some type of holes with white stuff in it. What can it be? Also I have had sharp pains in my liver and trachea every now and then throughout the day and it will feel like I would need to throw up, but I never do.
It seems from your complaints that you have pharryngitis complicated with chronic tonsillitis. You would require a complete physical examination, Complete blood count, throat swab and other tests to formulate a diagnosis. I suggest you see a doctor who can investigate you properly and suggest some antibiotic course depending upon your reports. In the mean time you can take plenty of fluids, Start gargling with warm water and betadiene lozenge and avoid taking anything cold and spicy to reduce your pain.
Hope it helps.
Regards Dr Manish Jha
