Suggest Treatment For Strep Throat Infection And Spots On Hands And Mouth
My daughter continues to get strep and she is continually getting spots all over her hands and in her mouth. This is something that happens at least once a month or two and has been happening over the past few years. Is there an underlying heath issue?
Treatment of streptococcal infection of throat is by antibiotics as well as with anti fever and anti pain drugs. However many other conditions may also cause rashes along with sore throat. Scarlet fever is another bacterial infection which may need course of antibiotics.
Infectious mononucleosis, measles, hand, foot and mouth disease, west Nile virus are some of viral disease mostly need symptomatic treatment with analgesics, rest and proper rest etc. Adult onset still disease is a rare disease with symptoms of sore throat, rashes, pain and swelling of joints and need treatment with NSAID, corticosteroid and immunosuppressant like methotraxate.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
