i m 30 years old. i m taking antidepresant mediciened for stress and appitite. i dont have appetite for last 10 years. a lot of heavyness in my mind. i have taked advice and consultation from lot of doctors, but no effect. now i m thinking for massage theraphy, where i should go in banglore or any other advice
You are taking anti-depressant medicines for stress and poor appetite. You have heaviness in mind for which consultation from multiple doctors has been taken with no relief. Most likely you are having symptoms of depression.
Medicines are mainstay of treatment but non-medicinal treatment is also equally efficacious. It includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy by a trained psychologist. This therapy help in exploring faulty cognitions and help a patient in improving them. Other option is relaxation therapy. Progressive muscle relaxation training, breathing exercises, even massage therapy are part of relaxation therapy. You can go for these modality of treatment but as per my opinion continue to take your medicines regularly.
