Suggest Treatment For Stuffy Head,throat Pain And Yellow Phlegm
i have no fever but i am coughing up yellow stuff my head is extremely stuffy and my throat hurts. I have been on amoxicillin 2000 mg a day for the past 4 days how long will this last or is there anything else I can do I have already been to my dr 2x

Hello,
There seems to be nasal infections and sinus problem. The sinuses if blocked with mucus will drain mucus at the back of the throat and will infect the throat.
It is good that you are taking appropriate medicine but in addition you need to take antihistaminic and decongestants., mucolytics.
In addition you need to take anti inflammatory medicines which help in decreasing thickness of mucus and helps in drainage.
In doubt do reply.
