Suggest Treatment For Stuffy Nose, Cough And Watery Red Eyes In An Infant
Hi my baby boy is 4 months old and has a stuffy nose and a chesty cough for over a week now and his eyes are red sometimes and one of them keeps watering ive been giving him calpol and fliuds and hes feeding ok but today he is very irritable and not himself crying alot etc what should I do ?? Is it time for doctor or should I try calcough tickly along with Calpol
Hello my dear I appreciate your concern for your baby Since he has been sick for week so I believe this is the time you should see a pediatrician for proper assessment of his clinical condition
Study nose and cough is suggestive of URTI or allergy Since he is not running fever as per your history than why are you giving him the calpol He just need nasal saline drops and a cough syrup Watering and redness of eye could be caused by infection or inflammation of eye so you should see a doctor for examination and a battery of tests to establish a diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question please let me.know if you have any more doubts Best wishes
