I experience sudden and acute nausea with vomiting immediately following a normal bowel movement about 2-3 times a month. If I don t get into a warm bath immediately, I vomit until stomach bile comes up. I was a heavy binge drinker (alcoholic). I have not had a sip of alcohol for approximately 8 months. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a stomach infection.

I suggest to do a stool test to check for H.Pylori bacteria which can be the cause.

I also suggest to do a complete blood count and bilirubine level.

Meanwhile, I suggest to use Reglan 10 mg three times a day to stop the vomiting.

I also suggest to stay hydrated and avoid food that can trigger the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
