Suggest Treatment For Sudden Rise In Weight

I am 32 with 6 kids and had about a 3 month issue with drugs.. even during pregnancy I have not been this heavy. I am gaining 10-20 pounds per month, I have history of cervical cancer. I am not depressed I changed my diet n no luck i need help i never weighed more then 120 and am 5 3 I have since july gained alotand weight 160. Something iswrong

Ok, thyroid disease can change metabolism. In theory, other diseases could, but that's quite rare. Much more common is fluid retention. 20 pounds of fluid cannot hide and swelling of feet or abdomen would be there if fluid were the issue. oh.. pregnancy certainly can cause varicose veins and fluid in ankles and also changes in weight from the pregnancy and somewhat changes in metabolism. It can also affect the thyroid; often indirectly through pituitary problems.
A thyroid test and a simple look over would be the usual first step.
