I just came home from work and my 82 year old mom is having a hard time putting words together and not remembering people can t remember her sisters names and yesterday she could tell you . She does not have any numbness in arms , gait is good . No facial drooping

Impaired speech may be related to cerebrovascular iscemia so you may need to send her to hospital for evaluation. Keep her blood pressure under control and an MRI should be done to check the brain vascularisation.
