Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have started a new medication Symbacort & Singular to help with my asthma but my lips seem to have had a reaction and feel like I have a bad sun burn. I also was using Listerine Totalcare and stopped thinking that might have something to do with it. I have tried Vaseline, chapstick but nothing is helping. Do you have any suggestions?
If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days then consult dermatologist/pulmonologist for proper examination and rule out causes like skin infection and start alternative course of medications. Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment and vitamin C supplement for quick recovery.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
