Suggest Treatment For Super Ventricular Tachycardia

Hi, I am having trouble my husband has Super Ventricular Tachycardia aka. SVT he takes Hydrocodone for his back which he has no tail bone from an accident when he was younger and he has severe migraines they seem to help I was just wondering as sensitive as his heart is if there was something else that would help he is allergic to Morphine causes severe itching we found that out when he was in the hospital with kidney stones but he still hurts he has had a broken leg which has caused cartilage to form a knot on his knee that he got while playing football in school he does not take any meds except his Verapamil 240 1 q am and 120mg q pm along with atenolol 50mg BID and takes the hydrocodone 10/325 QID and soma 350 TID he is not addicted to any of it but he ha been taking it for years now 15+ he is 39 YO just wondering if anyone knew of anything that would not cause his heart rate to go into SVT mode which is very scary for the both of us he also has had a failed catheter ablation for the SVT which ended up in 3 holes punctured in his heart and then Cardiac Tempanod therefore ended up with Cardiac Thoracic Surgery via Trauma Surgeons so that is the reason we are really concerned but can not stand seeing him hurt any longer with his back knee and head (he was hit in the head with a baseball bat) any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you and God Bless
