Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Bruises On The Arms Post Injury

I had a car accident yesterday and hurt my arm. It is a little bruised and swollen. It s sore which is to be expected but it won t stretch out all the way like same length as my other arm. It kind seems like it hangs a little weird. Not sure how to explain but a little swollen around my elbow too. Wondering if I could have a fracture in my elbow?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query with HCM.

It is likely that you may have suffered a fracture to your lower arm. I would suggest you to get a Xray done for elbow on the injured side. You may restrict your hand movements with the use of a sling so that the fracture does not get any worse. It is better to consult with a doctor soon so as to get proper treatment at the earliest.

Hoping this helps.
Thank you
