Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Brusing On The Fingers After An Injury

Hello. I had softball practice today, and might have jammed/broken my fingers. I was going to catch the ball with my glove, when the ball hit my fingertips. Now, they are swollen, turning purple, and getting hard. I ve already iced them twice and splinter them once (I thought it would heal better that way). What should I do to allow them to heal?

Thank you very much for contacting healthcare magic.

You have bruishing and swelling over finger tip after injury that mostly because of blood accumlation surronding tissue.

Take one X ray if any facture present that can detected by it.

Take rest.
Avoid excessive stress and load .
Apply ice over it.

After taking this much care still symptoms are present than consent a physician for diagnosis.

Proper physical examination give exact idea.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you.
Take care.
