Hi, my 12 year old son got purposely kicked in his testicles multiple times yesterday after school. We went to the doctor and they said nothing was wrong. It is now about the size of a softball. He is crying at this point and I called the doctor and they said it would have showed up yesterday but there is clearly something wrong can I have help please?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Swelling in testis is probably due to soft tissue swelling after injury . trauma. You can take pain killers for pain and hot fomentation for pain. If the pain does not resolve within few days, you can get an ultrasound to check the testicles.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
