Suggest Treatment For Swelling And White Spots On Tonsils Post A Bout Of Cold
I caught a cold a few days ago, turned from a cold to a sore throat. I woke up two days ago with huge white spots on my tonsils, Iv been using home remedies for strep and the cold symptoms have gone away. Is it possible my swelling and the white spots will go away naturally if I continue my remedys
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have a Viral throat infection with secondary Bacterial infection and the white spots are due to pus pocket formation..
Home remedies will not alone help and even if they do they will take a long time to resolve the infection..
It will be better to start Medication.. You can take Azithromycin 500 mg once a day for 5 days.. Take Ibuprofen which is Anti-inflammatory painkiller and will reduce pain and inflammation. Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.. Do warm saline gargles.. Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Hope this information helps..
