Suggest Treatment For Swelling Hematoma

I just had inguinal hernia (right side) about 8 days ago..I saw my surgeon yesterday and he said I have a swollen hematoma along and below the open-incision location. He used a syringe to drain it, but there is still considerable firmness again today. Wants me to come back Monday, July 21st. Should I be seen again (tomorrow is Friday) and/or are there things I can do at home to help eliminate this situation?? Thank you, Steve

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-Post Surgical hematoma in inguinal repair incision.

Treatment-
Besides Needle aspiration as was done by your Surgeon,You need to take complete Bed Rest-
Compression dressing with padded sterile dressings.
High protein diet,
Tab Zincovit-with zinc,vit C, bplex for early recovery.
Tab Vit D3/ with Calcium, need to be given.
Tab Nsaids-like Advil 400 mg x 3 times a day-5 days
Tab Ciplox -Oz-1 x 2 times a day x 5 days.

Hope this would recoup the hematoma at earliest.
