Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Ankles

My wife, who is 70 years old had three stents placed in her groin area in April of this year. She still has swollen feet and ankles from the procedure and I would like to know how long will her legs be swollen and how can she alleviate the swelling, she is using ice.
